Shopping at Gift Squirrel could not be easier. Just browse our shop, click on any items that you wish to buy, including any engraving and additional information about you order and put them into your basket.
After you have finished your selection, click 'Checkout' on the right hand side of the site (your basket) to be taken to your purchases. Choose the correct shipping zone from the dropdown list, click on 'Checkout' , and you will be taken to our secure checkout page where you can give us your details and pay for your order.
How do I pay for my order?
The final part of our Checkout stage, after you have entered your address, is to choose how you would like to pay for your order. You will now be taken to our checkout page where you can pay using your PayPal account (if you have one) or use any credit or debit card also with out needing an account. This platform offers you the most safe and convenient way of paying for your order.
Are my credit card details safe?
Yes. For your peace of mind we use only a recognised company to process our online payments. Our payment service provider Paypal Pro are trusted by millions of companies worldwide and provide the safest means available today of shopping on the internet. The payment service provider processes your payment and perform security checks before telling us your payment has been accepted. We are fully PCI compliant as we do not have access/nor store any card details for your peace of mind.
Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes, you can. We do accept payments with PayPal. Simply choose this payment method at the Checkout to be transferred to the secure PayPal site. You can then pay safely with your PayPal account, or directly with any credit or debit card.
Why haven't I received an email regarding my order?
There are usually two reasons why you are not receiving email notifications. You may have submitted an outdated email address (or an address with a typo) with your order, or you may have a spam blocker filtering out emails from our system. In this instance simply email us from your current account to check on your order status. Also try turning off any spam blockers that may be preventing messages from getting to you.
Can I amend my order or add extra items after I have checked out?
No, once the order has been received and paid for, we no longer have any payment details for extra items to be charged. You can amend the text, if you have made a mistake, but this needs to be done asap.
Which currency do you use?
We use British Pounds (GBP) and all prices on our site are shown in this currency. If you would like to convert prices to Euros or US Dollars, please click the currency converter to change the display. Payments are also taken in GBP Sterling. If you are purchasing from outside the UK the GBP price will be converted to your own currency by your card processor.
Do you ship worldwide?
No, The only exception is for military personnel using BFPO/BF1
Do you offer a next day delivery service?
No, as we engrave to order and have found in the past by offering next day delivery, this was causing other orders to be delayed as we stopped to do the next day delivery orders and thought it was unfair on these customers who had ordered in plenty of time.
Why is the credit/debit card option not showing on the payment page?
The main reason is because you are trying to place the order whilst at work, many companies have filters to stop any payments being made by credit/debit cards.The only option is to place the order later on your home computer or use the other option of paypal, which a lot of companies do not filter.
